Boks fans turn out in thousands
Had the Pope arrived with Michael Jackson, Britney Spears and John Lennon (now there’s a fourball for a celebrity golf day), you wouldn’t have got as big a crowd: the day after the South African public celebrated the World Cup, Johannesburg’s rugby lovers (ie the entire city) turned up at OR Tambo International to welcome the team home. You couldn’t move at the airport, as the picture illustrates; Feverpitcher reckons, however, that the celebrating still has a long way to run…
