Ah well, at least he’s somewhere he’s appreciated. Kabamba Floors’ Springbok cameo came after a long campaign by Jake White to convince the country that fetchers simply didn’t exist; there’s a similarly well-grounded theory concerning beetroot, garlic and a rather nasty medical condition that springs to mind. But a glimpse of Floors the Springbok openside is all we got; the sevens game has been somewhat more appreciative of the flanker’s talents, and Floors is at the helm of the South African team in Dubai this weekend. It’s not quite the World XV in Leicester, perhaps, but the duty free shopping’s a lot better, and we haven’t seen the last of Floors in the XV man game.
